Ken Hawkins, CTO

Ken founded OmniIndex with CEO Simon Bain in 2020 and is an expert at taking innovative technology and products from concept through to release. He is an experienced leader at all levels including startups like OmniIndex, and industry leaders including Amazon. 

Ken was a Senior Engineer for ‘shop@AOL’ and led technical development of all aspects concerning architecture, design, and implementation. During its first two years, this project alone contributed over 12 million dollars in revenue to the bottom line at amazon.com. 

As Director of Technology at Broadjam for over 8 years, Ken oversaw a number of key projects which helped establish the company as one of the world’s largest web communities catering to independent musicians. This included a number of migrations and architecture developments to ensure fast and reliable service for the over 2 million unique monthly users. 

Ken’s key tasks so far at OmniIndex have included ensuring the OmniIndex Web3 Platform can be launched and set-up within minutes from the Google Marketplace, and working with his team to integrate our patented and industry-leading technology into our free blockchain storage app – Dropblock.
