What is The OmniIndex?

A big data solution using a combination of blockchain technology and patented fully homomorphic encryption to enable the encrypted storing, distribution and analytics of data.

How does The OmniIndex offer a secure solution for sensitive data?

OmniIndex’s patented use of fully homomorphic encryption means that data can remain encrypted at all stages: While stored, distributed, and analyzed. This means at no stage does private and sensitive data have to risk exposure by being decrypted.

Furthermore, the blockchain brings additional security and privacy benefits with data sandboxing and the fact data is not stored in a single location, and cannot be overwritten and changed.

What is a blockchain?

Blockchains are a secure way of recording data. Because the blockchain is not stored in a single location, and because the data cannot be changed once it is in the blockchain and must instead be added as a new record, it is a secure system for big data use and management.

What is fully homomorphic encryption (FHE)?

FHE is a form of encryption that permits users to perform computations on their encrypted data without first decrypting it. The data remains secure and private, but OmniIndex’s patented technology enables it to be used by analytics. Crucially, the output is identical to what could be produced had the operations been performed on the unencrypted data without ever breaking the original encryption.
